Introducing Marco Consolaro, Co-Founder of Alcor Academy and Co-Author of Agile Technical Practices Distilled. An expert in software delivery, Marco started his career as a software engineer, working both at startups like YOOX (before it merged with Net-a-Porter) and 7digital, as well as larger organisations like ITV.
After a short stint as a founder, he moved into software training and co-authored the successful book: “Agile Technical Practices Distilled, A Journey toward Mastering Software Design”, which was released in 2018.He then put together his experience with startups and his training experience to productise training and formalise it, co-founding Alcor Academy.
A strong proponent of instilling the right work culture, Marco’s company helps CTOs and Tech leaders to promote a Culture of Excellence by training their software engineering teams on advanced engineering practices, taking a “socio-technical” approach.
